The fins work as expected - they propel you forward. Also, they look very nice. However, they kept slipping off and one of them kept sinking to the bottom of the swimming pool. The other fin did float, so floating (a very important feature, particularly if you plan to use the fins in a lake or the ocean) is part of the design. An improvement in manufacturing quality control might address the problem in China (where the fins are made). TO fix the sinking issue, we attached some boyant material (the SeaSense FOAM KEY FLOAT, Lucky Line 92801 Soft Key Float, Chums Red Floating Neoprene Keychain, etc.), which made the fin not look as nice. The slippage probably was because we wern't so used to the fins. |
