Havent taken the trip yet, but have been using them in the pool to condition myself.These fins have the length and power of much higher priced fins. For the money you can't beat them. I travel twice the distance with half the effort of my old shorter fins. Well worth the money. Back from my trip. Fins worked great all around with one design flaw for shore divers or shallow depth snorklers. The front drain opening for the foot is on the bottom of the fin and tends to suck the sand into the foot cavity.
