These fins are good for warm water environments but it will not work with anything more than a very small boot that doesn't have a hard rubber sole (2mm or less.) I am 6ft, 135lbs so it is not a matter of my foot being too wide; I ordered the large size and my foot is a size 10. The strap is very comfortable without boots however and the small fin (it is also not very stiff) makes it a good choice for kicking around where you aren't fighting a current.

We bought these for my husband to use for a lobstering trip to the Florida Keys. The first day of the trip, the strap broke. We returned them.

Great fins for snorkeling! They're probably only a medium grade quality fin, but for casual snorkeling, they're great! We used them with fin socks f!or a better fit and to prevent any rubbing. They made swimming long distances so much easier! The plastic and rubber did begin to separate after two days of snorkeling, but that was probably from being beaten against rocks. I think that had more to do with our swimming and less to do with the quality of the fins. I would buy this product again.
